Meet Spark: your AI assistant in Fusion
Running a publisher business means asking a lot of questions. How’s revenue tracking? Why did fill drop? Is anything broken? Getting the answers usually means jumping between reports, filters and help docs.
Spark changes that. It’s the new AI assistant built into Fusion. Ask it anything about your account in plain, everyday language, and it will go through your live data and our documentation to find the answer.
A teammate who knows Fusion inside out
Spark is built for the questions you ask every day:
- Keeping on top of performance. How is revenue tracking this week? Which publishers are earning the most? Why did fill dip on Tuesday?
- Checking the health of your setup. Are there any tag errors? Is anything missing from ads.txt? Are there onboarding steps still to finish?
- Finding your way around. What does eRPM mean? Where can I see revenue by demand partner? How do I set up a new ad stack?
Always one click away
Spark is available on every page in Fusion. Click the Spark button in the bottom-right corner, or press cmd+k (Mac) or ctrl+k (Windows), type your question and choose Ask Spark.
It knows which page you’re on, including any filters you’ve applied. That means you can ask “How does this compare to last month?” and it will know exactly what you mean. If you’re not sure where to start, each page suggests a few questions, such as Explain this page or Summarise this page.
You can use Spark as a sidebar, a floating window or full screen, whichever suits the way you work.
Built with trust in mind
Spark looks things up and explains them, but it never changes your account. If you ask it to create, edit or delete something, it will point you to the right place in Fusion and walk you through the steps.
It also sees exactly what you can see and nothing more. It only answers for the organisation you’re working in.
Like any AI, Spark can sometimes get things wrong, so double-check important figures before acting on them. Its answers link straight to the relevant pages in Fusion, so checking only takes a moment.
Tips for getting great answers
- Be specific. “What was eCPM for example.com last week?” will get you further than “How are we doing?”
- Keep the conversation going. Spark remembers what you’ve discussed, so follow-ups like “And the week before?” work well.
- Narrow down the big questions. Network-wide queries take a little longer. Try focusing on a publisher, date range or metric.
Spark replies in British English by default but will answer in whatever language you ask in. Money is always shown in your organisation’s currency, and Spark tells you whether revenue figures are gross or net.
Pick up where you left off
Every chat is saved, so you can come back to it at any time. You can rename or archive chats, and use Copy or Copy chat to share answers with colleagues. You don’t need to wait while Spark works either. Switch to another page and it will keep working in the background.
