Content Ignite and The GoodNet partner to bring ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) data to Publishers

[London, 28th Nov, 2024] — Content Ignite, the advertising technology platform which gives publishers complete control over on-page monetisation, ad technology, and ad management, has joined forces with The GoodNet, the ESG data company that connects business performance and sustainability goals.

The partnership will focus on 2 key areas:

  1. Surfacing valuable ESG data into the Content Ignite platform for Publishers to be able to understand how their sites score and rank within The GoodNet’s proprietary GoodIQ intelligence tool, and what actionable changes need to be made to move the dial in a positive direction.
  2. Unlocking Unique Demand. The GoodNet are then activating campaigns across Content Ignite publishers that meet the required ‘Good IQ’ score unlocking unique demand that would otherwise not have been accessible.

Data is accessible through Content Ignite’s ‘Healthcheck’ product, available to all active publishers on the platform (see graphic below). Publishers can access  more detailed reporting , enabling them to address areas of concern and improve their ESG scores. By doing so, they can unlock unique demand opportunities and amplify their positive impact.

This valuable data is added to a comprehensive range of metrics within Content Ignite’s Healthcheck report for publishers, including Header Bidding, Ads.txt, Core Web Vitals, Ad Fraud, Latency, Sustainability, and more.

“The collaboration with The GoodNet reflects a natural alignment of vision and values,” said James Hanslip, CEO of Content Ignite. “Our goal is to equip publishers with unique insights to make informed decisions. ESG is a growing focus, and the ‘Good IQ’ intelligence tool really stood out to us. We’re excited to see this partnership evolve.”

“A critical part of The GoodNet’s mission is to help brands align their digital marketing spend with their ESG strategies. Our partnership with Content Ignite will help direct more ad spend towards ethical media to the benefit of both brands and publishers,” said Guy Jones, Co-founder. “Content Ignite have always been vocal supporters of ours, and this partnership represents a new chapter for The GoodNet helping Publishers directly with this integration.”

As consumer demand grows for transparent, responsible, and purpose-led brands, Content Ignite and The GoodNet are poised to become key partners for Advertisers and Publishers aiming to make a difference through a structured ESG strategy.
