Senior Full Stack Developer

We are looking for an Senior Full Stack Developer with a proven track record in building web applications with both Frontend and Backend skills and experience.

Company Background

At Content Ignite, we maximise revenue, efficiency and control for digital publishers through our proprietary ad-tech platform called Fusion. Fusion allows a publisher to take control of on-page monetisation, ad technology and ad management through one simple tag integration.

We work with some of the largest publishers in the UK including Global Media, National Rail, Haymarket and with expansion into the US, EU and the rest of the world.

In this period of growth, we are looking to add a new Senior Full Stack Developer to our technical team.

Tech Overview

At Content Ignite we build bespoke technology that serves billions of request every month. We are known for our intuitive and beautiful UI’s and not being afraid of using the latest technologies to achieve our goals.

Our front end is built on React, Vite and the MUI library, and we strive to build a cutting edge UI that makes powerful features easy to use, such as our drag-and-drop ad stack solution.

Our back end is a PHP API, hosted in Google Cloud and pulling from various API’s and various data storage solutions (relational databases, data lakes, document stores).

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a senior level developer with a proven track record of building both frontend and backend projects at scale.

The chosen candidate will need to be confident in reading and understanding code, and appreciating the impact small changes can have at scale.

Experience in working with various 3rd party API’s would also be ideal.

In addition, experience in scoping out a project from a detailed outcome is vital. Understanding how the data structure might look and how various components should come together to form the UI and what endpoints will be needed to support it.

We work in an agile industry where we are increasingly seeing big companies go under when they can’t pivot fast enough, so we are never afraid to re-prioritise and push out proof-of-concept features to keep up with industry pace and iterate as we go.

This is a key position and lays the foundation for further growth with a successful candidate rising with that growth.

We mostly work remotely, but with most staff in the Bournemouth/Southampton area. We like to get together in the office at least once every 2 weeks. We will also expect a successful candidate to be present in the office throughout initial onboarding.
